Texture Magic

Texture Magic is a wonderful new product that allows a sewer to add texture to any fabric. This wonderful product is sewn onto a piece of fabric that is cut approximately one third larger than the desired finished size. Texture Magic is sewn onto the back of the fabric in any way that you wish. It can be sewn in a grid pattern or it can be sewn in any free-motion style (such as stippling) that you desire. The pattern you sew will change the appearance of the texture. After the texture magic is sewn to the base fabric just give it a shot of steam and it shrinks about one third of the original cut size of  the piece of fabric and crinkles (textures) the front side of the fabric.  It can be used with or without batting. I did not use batting on the piece that I made. If you use batting, it won’t shrink as much, so experiment! The nice thing about this product is that it is now washable and will not shrink anymore. It also remains stable and is not stretchy, so it can be used in a wide variety of projects and will not distort further. Have some fun with this great product.   Texture Magic by Superior Threads
